Summary of Expertise

Extensive experience in private and public non-profit organizations in the fields of education, health care, social change, and fund development. Ten years experience in higher education. 

The UC Santa Cruz Development team raises more than $65 million annually, engaging major donors as partners to create transformative experiences for students and researchers. I am responsible for the strategic vision and plans to engage University friends and donors through impactful events, donor communications, and meaningful donor experiences.  I help campus leaders promote the innovative and impactful programs at our world-renowned research University to interested donors. My leadership team includes the Director of Prospect Development, Director of Advancement Communications, Senior Director of University Events and our Campaign Project Manager.

Teaching Interests

I am certififed by the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at UMASS Medical Center as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher.
